Meet the Team
Sarah Gleeson
OWNER, DANCE & DRAMA INSTRUCTOR
Sarah is the owner of Solasta Performing Arts, which she started in 2022. She has spent a big part of her life performing and she has a big appreciation for all types of art.
Since the start of Solasta, Sarah has taught around 50 students drama and/or dance, and these students (along with Sarah herself) have performed at numerous events such as; Narrabri’s Heart of Art, Stars of Narrabri Dance for Cancer, and end of year performances.
Sarah endeavours to continue her study in the near future (which she put on pause when she had her beautiful boy, Xander) to achieve her bachelor in Arts.
Lauren Brown
SINGING INSTRUCTOR
Lauren has had vast experience in different areas of singing and has been training for around 10 years. She has been taught by multiple teachers, including being classically trained by musical theatre and opera singers specialising in vocal strength technique and health.
She has performed in many shows like the local MADD Night at Narrabri high school, CAPERS in Tamworth all the way to Newcastle where she performed in Starstruck and multiple other musicals. Since finishing school in 2022, Lauren finished a major musical and has been working at Narrabri High School ever since.
